China News Service, May 6. According to Taiwan's "Central News Agency", Taiwan Railway Director Du Wei communicated with the Taiwan Railway Trade Union on the 5th regarding the corporatization of the Taiwan Railway. This is also the first labor-management consultation after Labor Day. However, the two sides have no intersection. After the meeting, the signing event of the declaration of no overtime on the Dragon Boat Festival on June 3 was officially launched.

According to reports, the first review of the Taiwan Railway's corporatization bill has been completed in the legislature, and the Taiwan authorities hope to complete the third reading by the end of May. Because the Taiwan Railway Trade Union launched a no-overtime campaign on May 1, the Taiwan Railway has scheduled all trains on Labor Day. Suspension, the "legislators" of the government and opposition hope that the transportation department will communicate with each other to resolve the doubts of the Taiwan Railways union, and avoid other festivals that the Taiwan Railways will stop driving because the employees do not work overtime.

On the 5th, Du Wei discussed the disputes faced by the corporatization with the Taiwan Railway Trade Union on behalf of the employer, but the two sides did not have any intersection.

It is reported that there are 15 branches of the Taiwan Railway Trade Union, and the main cadres of each branch have participated in the labor-management communication of the factory. The railway union decided to officially launch the Dragon Boat Festival no overtime activity, and the cadres of each branch will bring back the signed statement.

In addition, Taiwan's transportation department has been psychologically prepared for the Taiwan Railway Trade Union's launch of the Dragon Boat Festival no overtime activities, and the possible contingency plan will refer to the mode of dealing with the suspension of the Taiwan Railway on May 1.

However, the Dragon Boat Festival is the first day of the consecutive holiday. If the trains of the Taiwan Railway are all suspended, the transportation capacity that needs to be supplemented will be much higher than that on May 1.

On April 21, the Transportation Committee of Taiwan's legislature reviewed the "Public Taiwan Railway Co., Ltd. Establishment Bill", which is related to the corporatization of Taiwan Railway, but it includes the short-term debt repayment that the Taiwan Railway Union is concerned about and the way to obtain assets after the corporatization of the Taiwan Railway. , asset development, and employee benefits and other key provisions have not reached consensus, and will be reserved for consultation between the government and the opposition.
