Firefighters rescued a 27-year-old motorist on Friday, whose vehicle left the road and fell below, for an unknown reason, in Arboras (Hérault), northwest of Montpellier.

The accident took place Thursday evening, around 10 p.m., but the victim, whose arm was stuck, could not be freed by the emergency services before this Friday, at the beginning of the afternoon.

The Dangerous Environment Intervention Group had to intervene to rescue the young woman.

The operation, which was particularly sensitive, had to be carried out in conjunction with a doctor.

The victim was evacuated in absolute urgency, to the Montpellier hospital.
