Mobile hospitals enter the village to provide medical services at home (like to see the new changes in the old area)

Starting from Gushi Hospital, Songyang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, the medical vehicle went up the Panshan Highway and arrived at Xiecun Village in about an hour. Many villagers waited at the entrance of the village early in the morning.

"I'm sick to my stomach, so I just came to see a doctor," said Li Guangfu, a villager.

Regardless of the size of the body, it is fully equipped with professional diagnosis and treatment equipment such as electrocardiographs, mobile B-ultrasound machines, and blood collection equipment. It is also equipped with more than 50 kinds of commonly used drugs, which can realize a variety of medical services. It is a veritable "mobile hospital".

"Xiecun Village is one of the most remote mountain villages in Songyang County. It is 39 kilometers away from the county seat. Half of the permanent residents in the village are elderly people. It is inconvenient for everyone to see a doctor. We set up a medical service team and 'open' the hospital to the door." Liu Yuhua, vice president of the hospital, said.

Carrying equipment, setting up clinics, registering, guiding, checking, prescribing, dispensing medicines... The medical staff has a clear division of labor, and is divided into internal medicine and surgery for different diseases.

"It used to take several trains to go to the county to see a doctor, and the mountain road was long and winding." After taking the medicine, Li Guangfu told the reporter, "Not only do you not need to leave the village now, everyone has health records, which is very convenient!"

In November 2021, the medical service team launched the "mobile follow-up platform" on the mobile terminal in combination with chronic disease follow-up, and established health files for villagers. Past medical history, medication and other conditions are clear at a glance, which greatly facilitates doctors' judgment and diagnosis.

"We have also added a smart settlement system, which can provide one-stop services such as registration, diagnosis and treatment, doctor's orders, inspection, settlement, and dispensing with the vehicle," said Liu Yuhua.

After a busy morning, by the time the last villager left, it was past dinner time.

"We can go to four villages a day at most." Liu Yuhua said that there are many elderly people in mountain villages, and many people suffer from chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, and need to take medicine for a long time.

To this end, the medical service team specially selected the 20 most remote villages and made several trips every month.

At present, Songyang County has a total of 5 "smart mobile hospitals", serving 203 administrative villages in 19 townships (streets), achieving full coverage of the county. In 2021, a total of 2,489 visits will be made, 5,046 medical personnel will be dispatched, and 155,200 people will be served. trips.
