The Asian Olympic Council (OCA) today (6th) decided to postpone the 19th Asian Games, which was scheduled to be held in Hangzhou from September 10 to 25, Chinese state-run CCTV reported.
The specific date will be announced at a later date.
The decision to postpone the Hangzhou Asian Games seems to be due to the Corona 19 spreading in Shanghai, China.
Hangzhou is about 200 km away from Shanghai, and Shanghai has been in lockdown for 40 days due to the spread of micron mutations.
