CNN: US provided Ukraine with information that allowed it to strike the cruiser Moskva

According to CNN, citing sources, the Ukrainian military received intelligence from Washington about the deployment of the cruiser.

It is not known whether Washington knew about Kyiv's plans to strike a Russian ship.

At the same time, it is noted that the United States did not take part in the adoption of the relevant decision.

Earlier, The New York Times wrote that intelligence provided by Washington to Kyiv led to the death of Russian officers, but at the same time, the United States opposes the transfer to Ukraine of data on the “most senior” members of the Russian military leadership.

Later, US Department of Defense spokesman John Kirby said that Washington does not provide Ukraine with intelligence information about the location of Russian military leaders on the battlefield.
