From a purely technical point of view, summer is already the first of those days, which this year happens to fall on Valborg, 30 April.
According to SVT's meteorologist Nils Holmqvist, it is a normal time for the summer to come to the hottest parts of Skåne, but that the meteorological definition does not always agree with how people perceive the season.
- It has been a windy spring so it may not really feel like summer should be here yet.

But despite the fact that summer is here by definition, it is not just sun to wait.
