According to Uspaskikh, more than 5.3 million people have left Ukraine since February 24, most of them went to neighboring EU countries.

Arriving in the European Union, Ukrainians began to face a number of serious problems, including the problem of integration in the labor market, the MEP noted.

The main obstacle in this matter for refugees is the language barrier.

Uspaskikh explained that knowledge of a foreign language is necessary, because without it, "Ukrainians will not be able to engage in skilled labor in the EU, protect their rights and avoid exploitation."

Against this background, the politician turned to the European Commission with a question about what measures the EC will take "to accelerate the process of integrating refugees into the EU labor market."

Earlier, the Le Figaro newspaper reported that many French residents who hosted Ukrainian refugees admitted that they were disappointed.

Thus, according to the French Office for Immigration and Integration, about 70 thousand Ukrainians receive a monthly allowance of €426.

These funds are often not enough for refugees to provide for themselves.
