China News Service, May 5 (Xinhua) According to a comprehensive report, on the 5th local time, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the expulsion of seven Danish diplomats in Russia.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia will reserve the right to take further measures in response to Denmark's unfriendly behavior.

According to the report, in response to Denmark's expulsion of Russian diplomats, the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed a strong protest to the Danish ambassador to Russia, and pointed out that Denmark's policy would bring serious damage to bilateral relations between the two countries.

It was previously reported that on April 5, the Danish government decided to expel 15 Russian diplomats. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov said on the same day that it was short-sighted to continue to narrow diplomatic communication channels under the current difficult conditions. It will be more difficult to solve the problem through diplomatic communication, which will also trigger Russian countermeasures.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova also said that Russia will respond to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Denmark.
