“Without any participation of the Ukrainian side, 15,637 people were evacuated from dangerous regions of Ukraine to Russia, including 2,002 children,” he said.
In total, since the beginning of the military special operation in Ukraine, 1,129,955 people have been evacuated, of which 201,350 are children.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense stated that a significant part of the population forcibly held by radicals in the cities of Ukraine is looking for opportunities to evacuate to Russia.
