Russian Ambassador: Moscow may impose retaliatory sanctions against the British broadcaster

“The same sanctions that will be imposed on the Russian VGTRK will be applied by the Russian government to one of the UK broadcasters,” TASS quoted him as saying on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Earlier, the British Foreign Office announced the imposition of sanctions against RT and Sputnik, as well as against other Russian media and journalists.

Russian Permanent Representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov commented on British sanctions against Russian media.
