It was in Pajala municipality's information center that Vattenfall would have its information about the planned wind power investment in the village of Käymäjärvi.

But the issue is sensitive and the politicians in the municipality have still not decided on the issue - but it will come up in the municipal council this autumn.

But then came new orders - and despite the fact that everything was already booked and announced, Vattenfall had to move its information to one of the hotels in Pajala.

"You must support all companies"

Hotel owner Kent Nilsson does not understand why the municipality denied the state power company.

- It is a corporate issue where you have to support all companies that can contribute something in Pajala, he says.

Nilsson thus did not hesitate to help when Vattenfall sought new premises for its information.

- I see a lot of benefits, of course for the place with growth opportunities for lots of companies that mean more employees and that the community grows.

We get a nicer society with opportunities for different developments.

"It's not sensitive"

Is it sensitive for you to take a stand on the issue?

- It's not sensitive.

It is so obvious to us, these are our opportunities and then we must support those opportunities.

SVT has sought the mayor Stefan Millgård for a comment without succeeding in reaching him.
