China News Service, Beijing, May 5th (Ma Shuisha) At 10:38 on May 5th, Beijing time, China used the Long March 2D carrier rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch the Jilin-1 wide-width 01C satellite and Jilin Eight satellites including No. 1 Gaofen-03D (27-33) were launched into space.

The eight satellites are all developed by Changguang Satellite Company. After the satellites are in orbit, they will be networked with the 46 "Jilin-1" satellites in orbit. Revisit 17 to 20 times a day anywhere in the world, providing more remote sensing data and product services for agriculture, forestry, ocean, resources, environmental protection, urban construction, and scientific experiments.

The "Jilin-1" wide-format 01C satellite fully inherits the mature technology of the "Jilin-1" wide-format 01A/B satellite, and has the characteristics of high resolution, ultra-large width, ultra-large storage, and high-speed data transmission.

"Jilin-1" Gaofen-03 (27-33) satellites are light and small high-resolution remote sensing satellites with the characteristics of low cost, low power consumption, low weight and high resolution.

This launch is the first launch of the Long March 2 Ding Rocket in the Year of the Tiger.

The Long March 2D carrier rocket is a normal-temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. Single-satellite and multi-satellite launch capabilities.

In this launch mission, the rocket adopts a "round table" ingenious layout to raise the center of gravity of the main payload satellite. Through three-dimensional design, man-machine simulation operation, digital proofreading and other processes, the 7 small satellites that are carried and launched are placed on the disk. , and use the rocket carrying capacity as much as possible.

This mission is the 419th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets and the 19th launch of the "Jilin-1" satellite project.
