The scene took place on October 9, 2020 on national road 24 between Ploërmel and Guer in Morbihan.

Claiming to be part of the "yellow vests" movement, the sixty-year-old had decided to demonstrate alone that day by driving at 30 km / h on this expressway and zigzagging on the roadway to block traffic.

Several hundred motorists had been detained for about thirty kilometers.

He claims his right "to be alone in spontaneous demonstration"

The services of the Interdepartmental Directorate of Western Roads had intervened to report the danger before the gendarmes arrested the individual at the gates of Rennes.

During the hearing, the latter claimed his right "to be alone in spontaneous demonstration", explaining that he had "put no one in danger".

Already known to justice with five convictions on his criminal record, the "yellow vest" had his driving license canceled by the court.

He was also fined 200 euros.
