Kidnapped, robbed and beaten - died a week later

It was at the beginning of the year that three men are suspected of having beaten and robbed a man in his 30s on a mobile phone, shoes and a thousand kronor.

He is then said to have been dumped unconscious outdoors on the ground.

- It is only possible to speculate about the motive.

He has probably been seen as an easy victim and taken the opportunity to exploit him, chamber prosecutor Markus Hankkio.

Died after six days

The man died of his injuries six days after the beating.

The evidence includes witnesses from the scene and surveillance footage.

The three men, who have been in custody since the incident, are now charged with, among other things, kidnapping, robbery and causing another person's death.

The trial begins May 5.
