Riner is on the list of 25 PSG judokas registered for the competition which will take place in Villebon-sur-Yvette in Essonne.

After the Tokyo Olympics, Teddy Riner, 33, took a six-month break, which he briefly interrupted last November for the same team championship.

He then resumed training in Paris in January and took part in camps in Brazil and Mongolia.

The ten-time world champion, who returned from the Tokyo Olympics with an individual bronze medal and a team title, must also line up for the Grand Slam in Budapest next July, before the Worlds scheduled for Uzbekistan in October.

Olympic medalists Amandine Buchard (-52 kg) and Romane Dicko (+70 kg), as well as Marie-Eve Gahié, who has just been crowned European champion in the under 70 kg category, will also be present in Villebon-sur -Yvette.
