This is another important milestone in the development of my country's compulsory education following the full realization of the "two basics", marking that my country's compulsory education stands at a new historical starting point.

The "Decision" requires that all localities shall, in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, always adhere to the priority development of education and unswervingly, and constantly strengthen the main responsibility of the government for compulsory education.

First, we must continue to maintain the level of emphasis, investment intensity, and work intensity on compulsory education, and give priority to guarantees in development planning, financial investment, and resource allocation.

Second, we must further increase support for difficult areas, weak links and disadvantaged groups, and continue to narrow the gap in compulsory education.

Third, we must do a good job in the regular monitoring and review of the balanced development of compulsory education in counties, grasp the situation in a timely manner, take effective measures to solve outstanding problems, and continue to consolidate the results of balanced development.
