There are constant voices within the party calling for permanent adviser Lee Jae-myung, who was a candidate for the Democratic Party's presidential election, to run in the by-election for the National Assembly, which will be held on the same day as the local elections on the 1st of next month.

Ahn Cheol-soo, the chairman of the Presidential Transition, is expected to announce whether he will run in the by-election tomorrow (6th).

This is 'Jaemyung's Village', the fan cafe of Lee Jae-myung, the executive adviser of the Democratic Party.

Following Song Young-gil's run for Seoul mayor, such as "Please protect the Democratic Party" and "Govern Lee Jae-myung", there are posts asking for Lee to run as an advisor to the Incheon National Assembly by-election to be held on the 1st of next month along with the local elections.

Rep. Lee Won-wook, chairman of the party's strategic nomination management committee, said, "There is no star like Lee Jae-myung in the Democratic Party."

When the party concludes, we will make a request.]

The idea was that this would maximize the effect of mobilizing supporters in Seoul and Gyeonggi, which are the winning places, when this adviser runs for office.

But prudence isn't easy either.

Choi Jae-seong, former chief of political affairs at the Blue House, objected, saying, "To protect himself in the Daejang-dong issue, etc., he will pour oil into the frame of running for the National Assembly election."

Opinions of close associates are divided.

Rep. Kim Nam-guk, a member of the 'Seven People', used the expression 'unknown', which means quietly waiting for the right time for a big event, and gave weight to the August National Convention, but an official from the 'Seongnam Team', a group closest to the party, said, "In the party If you make a strong request, it will be difficult to refuse."

Since the registration of candidates for the by-election is from the 12th to the 13th, it is expected that a decision will be made in the next week whether or not Lee Jae-myung's 'early appearance' will be made.

In the midst of this, it is known that Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the Presidential Transition, will announce that he will run for the Bundangap by-election tomorrow in Gyeonggi-do.

Chairman Ahn's side is looking forward to the strategic nomination, but opposition from Representative Lee Jun-seok, who has revealed the primary principle, and former lawmaker Park Min-sik, who has already registered as a candidate within the party, is expected.
