There is strong support in the Riksdag for Sweden to have a vehicle fleet in 2030 that is independent of fossil fuels.

In SVT's survey of the parliamentary parties, seven out of eight parties answer yes to the goal being fixed.

The Sweden Democrats say no, and say, among other things, that one must first solve the electricity supply, and that there are people, for example in rural areas, who are more dependent on petrol and diesel vehicles.

Therefore, it opens up for several forms of operation are needed in a longer transition period.

However, electric cars are part of the intended solution that most parties mention in their answers.

There is also strong support for the state to subsidize the expansion of charging posts for electric cars throughout the country.

On the other hand, the answers differ on how it should be done, for example, the Green Party wants the state to have overall responsibility for building charging infrastructure throughout the country, while the Liberals want to see retroactive requirements for building charging stations.

You want cars to be able to be charged where they are parked between 2 and 24 hours.

Want to help private actors to build charging posts

A majority also thinks that the state should pay for charging posts where other parties do not want to build.

Here it is the Moderates and the Christian Democrats who say no.

The moderates believe that there must be an interest and need for the charging posts to get rid of.

The Christian Democrats think it is better to help private actors to build charging posts.

Seven out of eight parties also support Sweden having a climate bonus for electric cars.

However, the Moderates, Christian Democrats and Liberals have reservations, including that the bonus malus system should be self-sufficient or may need to be reviewed.

The Sweden Democrats say no, and believe that the investment is ineffective.

Weak support for increased climate bonus

Finally, support for raising the level of the climate bonus is weak.

Only the Center Party and the Green Party say yes.

The Green Party wants to increase the climate bonus for those who live in rural areas and the Center Party wants to see strengthened climate bonuses for cars and trucks.

The Social Democrats are hesitant, but point out that this year's budget more than doubles the total amount of climate bonuses.

Other parties say no, including the Left Party, which thinks that the ceiling for the bonus part in the bonus malus should rather be lowered, and is considering a bonus for used cars.
