Always "orchestrated by Nikos Aliagas, the most famous musical academy in France will soon welcome a new promotion", explained TF1 in a press release, announcing the opening of the casting intended to find the future Olivia Ruiz or Elodie Frégé.

"Singing, dancing, theater ... in order to become complete artists, this school of excellence will offer passionate and talented academicians the opportunity to follow intensive training surrounded by the best teachers", continues TF1, without giving further details.

Tuesday evening, the channel had formalized this return by broadcasting a commercial during its other flagship reality TV program, "Koh-Lanta", in which we hear Nikos Aliagas boast of a program that has become "essential".

"You go from total anonymity to the light that burns everything in its path", adds the host, also propelled to the front of the stage thanks to the "Star Ac'".

According to Le Parisien, who revealed this comeback at the end of March, the show will return to its historic setting at the Château des Vives-Eaux in Dammarie-les-Lys (Seine-et-Marne), but not its emblematic teachers Kamel Ouali , Armande Altaï, Oscar Sisto or Raphaëlle Ricci.

Contacted by AFP, TF1 did not confirm this information, nor specify whether the program would return to its format of the 2000s, combining daily programs and weekly prime time in the first part of the evening.

Launched in October 2001, "Star Academy" made headlines until the mid-2000s but experienced an erosion of its audiences before its last broadcast in 2008, and a brief return to NRJ 12 in 2012- 2013.

In January 2002, the final which had devoted Jenifer had been followed by nearly 11.9 million viewers, against 5.9 million for the victory of Mickels Réa in December 2008.

Last fall, TF1 had already bet on the nostalgia of fans and celebrated the 20th anniversary of "Star Ac'" through three shows on Saturday evening.

The first had attracted 4.2 million curious people, the last 2.8 million.
