- After the arrest, we have not received any more reports of incidents in Bottnaryd, so it has given some results, says Maja Karlsson, police.

The person who was arrested after one of the incidents is today free again, but is still a suspect while the investigation is ongoing and pending prosecution.

Continued concern despite arrest

Daniel Corneskog, CEO of Bottnaryd's carpentry, says that the arrest was of course a relief and that it has so far been calm in society.

But that the concern still remains for new sabotage to come.

- Since the person is at large and is back in Bottnaryd, there is of course a concern that everything will start again.

Although it's nice that it's calm in the current situation, he says.

The fire is still under investigation

The large fire that destroyed parts of Bottnaryd's carpentry in mid-February this year is still under investigation.

According to the police, they are currently waiting for a technical investigation to move forward in the process, but they believe that a solution may be close.

- It is still an open investigation and we are waiting for some answers right now to be able to move on, but there are suspicions, says Maja Karlsson.
