Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said today, Wednesday, that Israel will not forget its captured and missing soldiers, and will continue its commitment to return them to their homes, at a time when Israeli platforms broadcast videos documenting the families of the dead Israeli army criticizing the Prime Minister.

During an official ceremony in memory of the dead Israeli soldiers in wars with neighboring countries, Bennett added that Israel "does not forget Hadar Goldin, Oron Shaul, Avraham Mengistu, Hisham al-Sayed, and other missing persons."

The four names that Bennett mentioned are of Israeli prisoners held by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, including two soldiers who were captured during the third Israeli war on the Strip in 2014, while the other two entered Gaza in mysterious circumstances.

So far, the ongoing negotiations to conclude a prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and Tel Aviv have not been successful.

In a related context, Israeli platforms broadcast today, Wednesday, video clips documenting the attack on the families of the dead Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett during his speech at a memorial ceremony for the dead at Mount Herzl in occupied Jerusalem.

The families appeared shouting angrily against Bennett, and one of their members said to Bennett, "Traitor, despicable, fraudulent, shut up, you should be ashamed," while Bennett looks at him in astonishment and remains silent.

A short time later, Bennett interrupted the families' screams and said, "Breaking families are sacred and allowed to cry."
