Since Sunday, the demonstrators find themselves in front of ten tents installed near the Parliament.

They accuse Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian of wanting to cede all of Nagorno-Karabakh populated by Armenians to Azerbaijan.

Nikol Pashinian is an ally of the Azerbaijanis, I came to demonstrate to defend the Armenians, we are ready to do anything to defend ourselves

 ," said a young man.

Different political and anonymous parties make up this opposition.

They wave flags of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.

Garbage cans and benches block traffic in the city center and access to the National Assembly to the government.

Most importantly, safety

A young Diaspora Armenian living in Yerevan must choose security over democracy.

“

What is most important to me is safety.

That's why I'm protesting, I want him to resign, because he's incompetent.

We don't want a peace where we are weak where Azerbaijan will win whatever they want.

We have to trust their promises, the promises of a dictator to believe that we will no longer be attacked

 ,” he said.

2 years ago Armenia lost in the

Second Nagorno-Karabakh War

.

In April, in Brussels, the Armenian Prime Minister agreed “

to reduce his demands

” during new peace negotiations with Azerbaijan.

Discussions
