China News Service, Nur-Sultan, May 4 (Xinhua) -- At least 17 people were killed in a traffic accident in Rivno Oblast, northwestern Ukraine, on the 3rd.

  According to the Ukrainian National Police Service on social media on the 3rd, at about 7 o'clock that night, a fuel truck collided with two passenger cars on the Kyiv-Chop highway in Rivno region, and a fire broke out at the scene.

According to preliminary investigations by local police and fire department personnel, 17 people were killed in the accident.

  Ukrainian President Zelensky posted on social media on the 3rd, expressing condolences to the families of the victims of the accident and instructing relevant departments to provide necessary assistance to the injured.
