  • On social networks, this 38-year-old woman shows her support for Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the movement of yellow vests and appears opposed to the vaccine pass.

This is the sequence that will have marked the 2022 edition of the May Day event.

A woman, suspected of having assaulted a firefighter on the sidelines of the parade, was arrested Sunday evening in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.

In the images, which have gone viral on social networks, we see him trying to hit the fire soldier twice, at the level of his helmet, while the latter tries to extinguish a fire of pallets, at the corner of the rue Alexandre Dumas and Boulevard Voltaire.

If, according to the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, the firefighter was not injured, an investigation was opened by the Paris prosecutor's office for "violence against a person responsible for a public service mission" and "rebellion" .

According to a judicial source, the young woman was still in police custody late Tuesday morning.

🟥 That's enough!

Shame on the savagery, incomprehensible this new aggression towards the firefighters of Paris in the exercise of their functions, to protect people, the property of the City and the smooth running of the event.

A "street medic" accustomed to demonstrations

Aged 38, this woman was, it seems, present at the demonstration as "street medic", these volunteers who provide first aid to injured people.

We see, in fact, on the images, his orange helmet and his red backpack marked with a white cross.

Monday, on the set of Cyril Hanouna's show, "Don't touch my post!"

“, on C8, her companion Alexandre confirmed that she was present as a street medic.

He apologized "to all the firefighters in France".

“The gesture is horrible.

Me, I apologize.

If she can ever come on set to apologize too, I know she will (…) It's horrible, ”he added.

Accustomed to demonstrations of yellow vests and opposed to the vaccine pass, this mother had been interviewed by the press agency Associated Press, in July 2021 in Paris.

Described by our colleagues as a former nurse, she had indicated that she had resigned from her post, "accusing the government of using a form of" blackmail "" with the vaccine pass.

"I think we shouldn't be told what to do," she said, adding that French medical staff during the first wave of coronavirus had been roughed up.

“And now, all of a sudden, we're being told that if we don't get vaccinated, it's our fault that people get infected.

Support from Jean-Luc Mélenchon

On social networks, a large part of his publications refer to demonstrations of yellow vests, content against the vaccine, the health pass or the wearing of a mask.

On December 16, on her Instagram account, the young woman published a photo of a letter sent to Brigitte Macron at the Elysée.

We see the envelope surrounded by children's masks with the messages "Enzo, 10 years old, I want to breathe without a muzzle" or "Gabriel, stop, I'm tired of it".

She also shows her support for the candidate of La France insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

In a selfie posted on her Instagram account on the day of the first round of the presidential election, April 10, we see her in the voting booth with a ballot from the leader of the Insoumis in her hand.

On March 20, she published a photo of her "man" at the Jean-Luc Mélenchon meeting in Paris.

On February 23, on Facebook, she wrote a message saying: “If Mélenchon does not have his 500 signatures, we will vote for Jean Lasalle”.
