A man in his 65s died after the accident with three cars.
The now accused man is suspected of aggravated drunk driving and the alcohol concentration in his blood was measured at 1.42 per mille.
He was also under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident.
Negligence in traffic led to a fatal outcome
In addition to the man being under the influence of alcohol and drugs, he is charged with gross negligence in traffic.
The indictment states that the man drove the car at high speed and on several occasions made overtakings with obscured visibility or crossed a solid line.
