In a tweet, the city of Marseille announces the closure of this beach, the closest to the city center, from seven in the morning.
The maritime prefecture of the Mediterranean will indeed proceed “to the displacement then to the explosion offshore of an explosive device dating from the Second World War.
The beach will remain inaccessible until the end of operations.
