The amendment to the Criminal Procedure Act, decided four months later, includes the contents of drastically reducing the scope of the prosecution's supplementary investigation into the case sent to the police, and prohibiting the so-called 'special case investigation' in principle.

The legislation began on the 7th of last month, when independent lawmaker Yang Hyang-ja moved to the National Assembly Judiciary Committee according to the proposal of the Democratic Party.



The people's strength and the prosecution collectively opposed it, saying it was a trick to neutralize the agenda coordination committee to reflect the opinion of the minority party, but five days later, the Democratic Party adopted the bill as its party argument.



Rep. Min Hyung-bae was even expelled from the party when lawmaker committee processing became difficult due to the unexpected opposition of lawmaker Yang.



The opposition and opposition parties agreed on the arbitration plan for the Speaker of the National Assembly, and the conflict was settled, but as the people's power declared a re-debate and abolition of the agreement, it again escalated into extreme confrontation. passed.



The Justice Party, which cast all votes in favor of the amendment bill to the Prosecutor's Office three days ago, abstained from all amendments to the Criminal Procedure Act.

A resolution to establish a special judicial reform committee to discuss the establishment of a Korean-style FBI, tentatively called 'Serious Crimes Investigation Agency', was also voted on today.
