“We are at the base of the 166th engineer-sapper regiment of the Syrian army during comprehensive engineering training,” TASS quoted a Russian military group in Syria as saying.

He noted that the parties are working out the issues of purpose, tactical and technical characteristics of mine detectors, their application and principle of operation.

“We are studying mines, their types, tactical and technical characteristics, how they work, how to neutralize them, what explosive is used in them,” the Russian military added.

Earlier, the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) in Syria said that militants of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group * carried out five attacks in the Idlib de-escalation zone in the SAR. 

"Jabhat al-Nusra" ("Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham", "Jabhat Fatah ash-Sham", "Al-Nusra Front") - the organization was recognized as a terrorist organization by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of 12/29/2014.
