She lives in Forshaga and has been thinking about getting an electric car for some years, but the fact that there are no public charging posts in her home municipality makes her hesitate:

- There shall be.

I think it is an obligation that the municipality makes sure that it exists.

Most withdrawals in Karlstad

Forshaga is one of two municipalities in Värmland that lack public charging posts.

This is shown by SVT's review, where figures from Statistics Sweden have been combined with figures from uppladdning.nu, which collaborates with most major charging operators.

In Karlstad, in February this year, there were the most public charging outlets in the county, 186, while there were 2,338 rechargeable cars.

In Kil there were 158 rechargeable cars but no public charging outlets.

At the same time, there were no public charging outlets in Forshaga either, but 161 rechargeable cars.

In the clip above, you can see what the people of Forshaga think about the lack of public charging outlets for electric cars
