After Dakar, the secretary general has been in Niamey since Monday, May 2.

Security, humanitarian issues and good governance in Niger were at the center of discussions between Antonio Guterres and President Mohamed Bazoum.

During this first visit, the UN Secretary General paid tribute to Niger's democracy.

The United Nations will remain at Niger's side, specified the head of the UN, the country arouses a lot of hope: “
