A 54-year-old man was discovered dead at his home in Bonneville (Haute-Savoie), this Saturday late morning, reports Le Dauphiné Libéré.
The firefighters and the gendarmes went to the scene after being alerted by residents of a fight between two individuals, an 84-year-old father and his fifty-year-old son.
The planned suicide route
The victim was found dead in a room where she had locked herself, specifies France 3 Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.
"The most likely track is that of the assault of the father by the victim followed by his own suicide with a stabbing weapon", indicated to our colleagues the public prosecutor of Bonneville.
The man suffered from psychological problems.
The father was injured and hospitalized but his vital prognosis is not engaged.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the Bonneville research brigade.
The victim's body must be autopsied at the beginning of the week.
