Big fright for a mother this Monday at the end of the day near Tarbes.
Around 5:50 p.m., when she was going to pick up her child at the leisure center located in a nursery school in Séméac, she left her little girl for a few moments in her car.
It was then that someone stole the vehicle, with the child still on board.
The Hautes-Pyrénées national police quickly issued a kidnapping alert on social networks in order to find the stolen car, a Renault Mégane Scénic type, dark beige in color, but above all the little girl who was on board.
Major means were deployed to try to find out in which direction the thief could have fled.
A little over an hour after the alert, the national police indicated that the child had been found.
She found herself "safe and sound" in the abandoned vehicle near the Lannemezan gendarmerie, 25 minutes from Séméac.
Law enforcement was still looking for the fugitive robber.
