In the clip, they hear more reactions to the price increase and the playground's marketing manager

This weekend, a real storm has flared up on social media after Leo's playland raised prices at the Muslim holiday Eid Al-fitr, which Aftonbladet was the first to report.

The company wrote on its website "Under Eid al-fitr, 2-4 May - applies to weekend prices".

This means more expensive entry than a weekday, which has caused many customers to react.

Diligently discussed

When SVT Nyheter Väst met visitors to the Gothenburg mosque after Monday morning prayer, everyone seemed to know about the discussion that has become big among Swedish Muslims on social media.

Many remained critical.

- As a Swedish Muslim living in Sweden, I do not think it is so nice to raise to a weekend price or a red day price when it is a weekday, says Mohammed Osman.

- It is discrimination against Muslims, says Muna Idow.

Others thought the criticism was excessive.

- I did not think it was such a big deal, but they should explain a little bit, says Kadra Adam.

"Misunderstanding"

Leo's playland marketing manager, Anders Forssten, confirms that the reactions to the company have been strong on social media and that many customers have heard of it.

At the same time, he says that it all boils down to a misunderstanding.

- It is actually the case that it is our regular price that applies to all popular days with high demand, regardless of what is in the almanac.

This applies, for example, on weekdays during the holidays or Maundy Thursday, which is not a red day either, he says.
