Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the NATO issue has been high on the agenda, and there is now much to suggest that Sweden may soon be on its way into the military alliance.

- It is not a question of whether we should join but when.

It permeates analyzes and you sense a certain delight, you are a little excited about it - it is a great political event to join, says Linus Hagstörm, professor of political science at the Swedish National Defense College.

He thinks that the question of a membership has both gone too fast and that it lacks a popular support.

- There is a door that is open right now, you sometimes hear, and if you wait six months, it may be closed.

I think that is an argument for stressing people.
