"Prime Minister Kishida reiterated that the situation in Ukraine is absolutely unacceptable and undermines the foundations of the world order, including in Asia," the Japanese Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

He also stressed the importance of decisive action to restore peace and stability to the international community.
