Interfax: a case was opened against Google for the enforcement of a fine of 7.2 billion rubles

It is reported by Interfax with reference to the database of the Federal Bailiff Service.

It is specified that the case was initiated on April 29 on the basis of the decision of the Tagansky Court of Moscow.

In December 2021, a court imposed a turnover fine on Google in the amount of more than 7.2 billion rubles for the systematic failure to remove prohibited information.

Later, the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, said that the deadline for the voluntary payment of a fine of 7.2 billion rubles by Google expires on March 19.
