And Mali, while the Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Turkey, Tunisia, Syria, Palestine, Qatar, Lebanon, Libya, Libya, Mauritania, announced the Eid, while the center continues to follow up on the countries that will investigate the crescent today to know the holiday, Monday or Tuesday.

In detail, the center clarified that the first country that helped confirm the sighting of the crescent of the month of Shawwal is the country of Afghanistan, and it announced that Sunday is the day of Eid al-Fitr in it, after 27 valid testimonies were received according to what they said, bearing in mind that the moon was not present in the sky at all after sunset. today. 

The Center pointed out that after the announcement of Afghanistan, the State of Niger announced that the Shawwal crescent moon had been sighted on Saturday from four locations.

This is despite the impossibility of sighting from Niger as well, due to the lack of conjunction and because the moon is west before the sun in it, pointing out that Mali also announced that the Shawwal crescent sighting was confirmed yesterday, Saturday, from two locations by 8 witnesses.

Except for southern and western Europe, northern America and central South America, while sighting the crescent on Sunday is possible with the naked eye relatively easily from the United States and Central America.

Accordingly, it is expected that the majority of countries that will investigate the crescent on Sunday will announce that the period of Ramadan is 29 days, and that Monday, May 2, is the happy Eid al-Fitr, while it is expected that the holiday will be on Tuesday, May 3 in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
