She was then in the company of her driver who was also kidnapped, added Governor Adolphe Lélé Lafrique, who also said that a search had been launched to find them.

But on Sunday morning, the ruling party senator, an elderly lady, appeared in a video posted on social media.

Sitting on a sofa, under the flags of the separatists, she reads laboriously and obviously under duress a text dated April 30, 2022, in which she repeats the watchwords of the separatist movement.

This video was posted by a man posing as the deputy chief of staff of a group called the Ambazonia Defense Forces, Capo Daniel.

It is entitled: “

Madame Mundi Regina arrested for high treason.

In support of its broadcast, Capo Daniel sets out the demands of the kidnappers: the release of 75 of their own, detained in Kondengui prison, in Yaoundé.
