The Secretary of State provided an update on plans to return US diplomats to Ukraine, including the first visits to Lviv this week, as well as plans to return to Kyiv as soon as possible.
As noted, Blinken and Kuleba also "discussed the administration's April 28 request to Congress for $33 billion in military, economic and humanitarian assistance to Kyiv."
On April 28, American President Joe Biden asked the US Congress for another $33 billion to support Ukraine.
The Pentagon said that they do not consider the allocation of an additional $33 billion in aid to Ukraine, which will also go to military purposes, to be an escalation.
