A 63-year-old man died overnight from Friday to Saturday in Barret-sur-Méouge (Hautes-Alpes).

They had spent the evening together, apparently, at the victim's home.
She was shot twice in the head, 9 mm, and one in the chest.

Aged 52, the neighbor is currently in custody for murder in Gap.
"He is alcoholic and he could not be heard," said the prosecutor.
Entrusted to the Gap research brigade, the investigation has already made it possible to seize the weapon at the defendant's home at the time of his arrest.
