6 instructions to ensure the safety and comfort of worshipers during Eid prayers

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has completed its preparations to prepare all mosques and Eid chapels at the state level, to receive worshipers and enable them to perform the blessed Eid Al-Fitr prayers with comfort and spirituality, keeping pace with the joy of this occasion in light of the recovery that the country is witnessing from the “Corona” pandemic.

The authority directed 6 main instructions to organize Eid al-Fitr prayers in various mosques and chapels, within the framework of its concern for the safety of worshipers and to create the ideal environment that enables them to perform their prayers with peace and ease. External loudspeakers broadcast the Eid takbeer half an hour before the prayer, provided that the entry and exit of worshipers are supervised, in cooperation with volunteers to avoid crowding. One, and finally the use of a personal prayer rug for each worshiper.

The preventive protocol announced by the National Authority for Emergencies, Crises and Disasters regarding the Eid al-Fitr prayer, stipulates the need to prepare the external squares of mosques with physical distancing stickers, with the possibility of benefiting from parks and public parking spaces adjacent to mosques, and also stipulates that the doors of chapels and mosques open for Eid prayer after dawn prayer on the day Eid.
