The Democratic Party is going to vote on the amendment to the Prosecutor's Office Act, one of the so-called 'examination and completeness' bills, at the National Assembly plenary session held today (30th) on the weekend.

The People's Power is planning to go to the filibuster again to prevent the processing of the remaining bills, but the Democratic Party plans to hold a special one-day meeting this time to neutralize it.

Democratic Party plans to pass the amendment to the Prosecutor's Office Act at the plenary session of the National Assembly to be held at 4 pm today, first among the two axes of the so-called 'complete inspection' bill.

On the 27th, the plenary session was held after the filibuster of the People's Power lawmakers' obstruction of legal proceedings, so the vote will proceed immediately after the dog.

With the Democratic Party already occupying a majority of 171 seats, the passage of the bill is expected to be easy.

[Park Hong-geun/Democratic Minority Leader: The Democratic Party promises to continue to push ahead with related legislation and follow-up measures according to the agreement.] After the

Prosecutor's Office amendment bill is voted on, the remaining 'complete inspection' bill, the amendment to the Criminal Procedure Act, is also proposed.

In order to prevent this, the People's Power is planning to go to the second filibuster again with an anti-pickt protest.

[Kwon Seong-dong/People's Power Floor Leader: The Democratic Party's enforcement of the vicious law has lost its legitimacy in both procedure, content and purpose.]

However, in response to this, the Democratic Party is planning to hold a one-day special session again with the so-called 'split session' strategy, so the second filibuster is expected to end automatically at midnight just like the first.

If that happens, the second 'complete inspection' bill, the amendment to the Criminal Procedure Act, will go up to the first plenary session on the 3rd of next month and will be voted on right away.
