For several weeks, the worrying phenomenon of bites in nightclubs has been spreading.

The managers of these establishments, for fear of losing part of their clientele, try as best they can to find solutions to reassure the revelers.

Since early April, dozens of complaints have been filed.

Almost everywhere in France, a phenomenon is proliferating: GHB shots in bars and nightclubs.

Many complaints have been filed in several cities in France.

The fear of seeing their establishments affected by this phenomenon pushes the bosses to put in place solutions to reassure customers.

This is the case of Alexandre Karimi, manager of the Alpha Club near Grenoble, an establishment which can accommodate up to 1,500 people.

Organized saliva tests

Alexandre Karimi is aware that this phenomenon can hurt him.

"We don't want psychosis to set in so we decided to do a drug test in my nightclub," he says.

“We are already very attached to security with searches at the entrance. Normally when entering everyone must be “clean” but if ever someone feels bad, they can show up at the reception”, specifies- he.

The person will then be directed to a medical tent where staff can examine them and perform a saliva test to detect the presence or absence of drugs.
