Russia announces successful launch of Angara-1.2 rocket into target orbit

　　The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the launch time of the rocket was 22:56 Moscow time on April 29, and the launch site was the launch pad 43 of the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Arkhangelsk Region.

All pre-launch operations and rocket launches completed normally.

　　According to the report, the satellite separated from the rocket at 23:18 Moscow time on the 29th and entered the target orbit at the scheduled time. The satellite is now being tracked by the ground facilities of the Titov Space Experiment Center.

This is the second launch of the light version of the Angara rocket, which was first launched on July 9, 2014.

The rocket is a two-stage type that can deliver up to 3 tons of payload into low-Earth orbit.
