Lavrov drew attention to the fact that Western countries are trying to suppress "the most brutal methods" of states that pursue an independent course in domestic and foreign policy.
“Our special military operation in Ukraine also contributes to the process of freeing the world from the neo-colonial oppression of the West, heavily mixed with racism and an exclusiveness complex,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also reported that Western sanctions have exacerbated the global food crisis.
