Four members of the national leadership of the PSOE, one of them also a minister, attended

a meeting of the socialist candidate for the Board, Juan Espadas, with mayors of the party and socialist spokespersons from municipalities with 20,000 to 50,000 inhabitants this Friday in

Seville .

There are still 50 days left for the elections, but the deployment gives a measure of the importance of the elections for the Socialists.

An appointment in which a clear order was transferred: sell the achievements of the Executive to deactivate the economic discourse of the PP.

The appointment of the Socialists in

San Juan de Aznalfarache

served to demonstrate what has been working for weeks: the elections are in

Andalusia,

but it will be a coordinated appointment between this community and

Madrid.

One of the objectives of the Socialists is to try to get out of the framework that the PP has imposed as a result of the arrival of Alberto Núñez Feijóo: tax cuts, yes or no.

The "monotheme," socialists call it.

The

popular

ones focus their message on the economy and, in fact, have forced Pedro Sánchez to appoint a negotiator on the matter, the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, in addition to Félix Bolaños for the rest of the issues.

In the stage of Casado there was not a solely economic plot of negotiation, which accounts for the priority that Feijóo gives to this issue, in the face of the economic crisis accentuated by the war in Ukraine.

To coordinate the message, the Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, traveled from Madrid -who came because he was chairing a sector conference on historical memory in Seville-;

the Secretary of Organization,

Santos Cerdán;

the secretary of Strategy and Electoral Action,

Javier Izquierdo

;

and the person in charge of municipal politics,

Alfonso Rodríguez Gómez de Celis

.

The message was clear: a reduction in the electricity bill;

Pertes, the minimum vital income;

the cap on rents;

linking pensions to the CPI;

20 cent discount on fuel...

alternative model

"You have to go directly to the people benefited by all these measures," was the mandate that Bolaños gave to the socialist mayors.

"This is what the campaign is about, comparing two models: one social democratic of progress and another ultraliberal, ultra-unsupportive, ultra-right, which is that of the PP embracing Vox."

And he added: "You have to remember it every day: the public policies we promote help people when they have difficulties."

To lubricate this machinery, the Government, Ferraz and the Andalusian federation couple the pieces.

The all is pursued as one with the bases of the message defined.

«Our channel of communication with the colleagues who govern is fluid.

They are available and interested in being useful to explain the policies that have been carried out or to unravel wrongs that are generated by intoxication or disinformation of the right", anticipated Juan Espadas, PSOE candidate for the Board, about the implication that the socialist ministers in Andalusia.

The speech of lowering taxes that the PP has adopted as a mantra generates discomfort in the PSOE because it is assumed that it permeates society and it is difficult to convey and explain to the public that they do not want to lower them.

Hence, all socialist positions are immersed in a work of pedagogy and take cover in the expense of maintaining the welfare state: health, education...

"The tax cuts and tax gifts to the wealthiest are a shot in the waterline of the pillars of the welfare state that we have been building for so many years," Swords wielded as an advance guard of its mayors.

"They say they want citizens to pay less, but what they want is for those who have more to pay less."
