In order to make the distribution as even as possible, the government commissioned the Swedish Migration Board in early April to develop a distribution model, which takes into account the number of inhabitants, the situation on the labor market and the existing number of asylum seekers in the municipality.
The proposal the County Administrative Board has submitted is that Varberg will receive 633 Ukrainian refugees, which will be approved by the Swedish Migration Board next week.
