The woman was found dead in an apartment in Skogsängen on Wednesday.
During the night until Thursday, a man in his 20s was arrested and detained.
On Friday, the man was arrested by Eskilstuna District Court, reasonably suspected of the crime.
- Now the investigation is focused on strengthening the suspicions against this man, says chamber prosecutor Thomas Bergström.
The suspect denies the crime.
