According to him, as part of the protection of the state border, additional regime restrictions are being introduced.
Demchenko said that restrictions have already been introduced in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
“Citizens are forbidden to stay near the border on the territory of about one kilometer, except for settlements,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
He also added that at night in the territory of controlled areas, movement up to 20 km from the border will be prohibited.
Earlier, the Odessa regional military administration announced that a long curfew would be introduced on the territory of Odessa from 22:00 on May 1 to 05:00 on May 3.
