Just this Friday night, when many young people are at Folkets Hus to watch Sean Banan, there are unusually many night walkers, five of them.

But often it is only Mikael Djupenström and the couple Elin and Henrik Vestholm who walk, something they do completely non-profit.

- I think you can also take responsibility for other people's children and I do this to create security, I want my children to feel it when they are out, says Elin Vestholm.

Commitment to waves

Admittedly, the cool commitment is nothing new.

According to Mikael Djupenström, it has been in waves during the ten years he has been hiking at night.

- I do not really know why it is so, maybe it is the TV and cozy home evenings that attract.

It's a shame, because it's fun to walk.

It's fun to meet the young people and talk to them.

And it is important to be seen and be an adult role model in the village who can sometimes tell if something goes wrong, he says.

In the clip: "We do not ask for much" - that is why night walkers want more adults to get involved.
